The PDM Hybrid Blockchain is a scalable, decentralized transparent network platform that will alleviate the challenge of interoperability by metadata to medical records and provide real-time visibility for patients, their doctors, laboratories, consulting specialists, pharmacies, and payers.
Our technology can address the issue of healthcare data silos that are provider-centric and not patient-centric by enabling open health data exchange markets. The PDM patient-centric identity empowers the patient with rights to consent to a user by assigning encrypted credentials to access the blockchain. The patient will define how to use their data in exchange for health services or even compensation in the future. It also provides auditability of whom, when, and where personal health data is utilized.
The PDM Blockchain will contain information from appointments, IoMT wearable devices, wellness APPS, vitamin's and demographics to be shared among providers, giving them a more comprehensive patient medical history and allowing Physicians to provide a higher quality of care.
Here's how the PDM blockchain works: Patients will unlock their electronic health records for their medical providers, insurers, or other stakeholders by using a secure cryptographic key — think of it like a username and password. That stakeholder could view and add medical data to the patient record on an append-only basis in encrypted, timestamped blocks. Once the patient has given permission, PDM’s blockchain's automated distributed architecture will access current records — while adhering to strict HIPAA privacy regulations and other privacy and security standards.
. . . . . patient-driven healthcare systems in the form of open health data markets and precision medicine, finally reaching the patient.
